I went to high school in Muenster, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor”s in Dairy Science. For the next thirty years I was self employed as a dairy farmer. During this time I continued to be interested in the latest scientific research. When considering a career change I decided to pursue a career as a high school teacher for the following reasons .

1. I love science. I like learning how biology systems work. I felt that with my experience I could pass this love for science on to young people.
2. I like being around high school kids. They have an enthusiasm and always amaze me with their talents and abilities.
3. There is a lot of pseudoscience in our culture today. If science is going to solve our problems then our youth must be able to distinguish between “good science” and “bad science”.

I am certified to teach Biology and other Life Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, and AP Biology
