My Life....

I was born on October 21, 1984 to Mike & Kelly Palmer in Shawnee, OK.  I was raised in Wayne, OK where I went to school grades K-12.  I have an older sister, Kami and younger brother, Kale (yes, I am the middle child and I do have the syndrome).  I played every sport that was offered at Wayne and was involved in almost every club/organization available (except for FFA....animals were never my thing).  I graduated from Wayne High School and then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant.  After changing my major what seemed like a thousand times, I finally decided that I would teach.  After all, everyone in my family either was or had been a teacher, so it just seemed like the perfect thing to do.  I am currently in my 3rd year of teaching.  I am so happy to be at Rock Creek and I am positive that this is where I am meant to be!  I am a very sports oriented person and I LOVE the Oklahoma Sooners, New York Yankees, and the Rock Creek Mustangs!  I am a member of the First Baptist Church in Bokchito where we have many close friends.  I value my faith, my family, and my education.  If you ever need to get into contact with me, feel free to call the school between 1:00-1:50 or e-mail me anytime at kassiewingfield@rockcreekisd.net.

Family:

Married to Kyle Wingfield (07-30-2005).  Kyle is the high school baseball coach at Rock Creek.  This is his 10th year in education.  Kyle has taught at Battiest Public Schools (3 years), Healdton Public Schools (3 years), and Rock Creek Public Schools (4 years). He is a graduate of Rock Creek High School (2000) and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. 

My parents are Mike & Kelly Palmer of Silo, OK.  My father is a retired high school and jr. high principal and my mother teaches fourth and fifth grade social studies at Silo. 

My sister, Kami Beller and brother in-law Brad Beller teach and coach at Washington High School in Washington, OK.  Together they have given me three of the most adorable neices, Kelby Dawn, who is 7, Briley Jo who is 5, and Roxy Lynn who is 1.

My brother, Kale Palmer is a graduate of Silo High School and is  a graduate of Southeastern where he obtained a Safety degree.  He is married to Torrie June Wright Palmer.  

Children:

Aaron "Kash" Wingfield was born May 29, 2008 in Durant, OK.  Kash attends 1st Grade at Rock Creek.  He loves life and is one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet!  He absolutely adores his baby sister, Scout!

Harper "Scout" Wingfield was born May 31, 2012 in Durant, OK.  Scout is the newest member of the Wingfield Family!  She is such a blessing from the Lord and definitely keeps life exciting!
